Nocturne is a series that symbolizes nocturnal synergies that alter the state of consciousness deep into the night. I spent some of my nights wandering the streets of Los Angeles to create a series that creates a profound nostalgic effect in the viewer.  To me, each photograph feels like an individual song on a record that you maybe listen to at night. It's stunning how the same tunes, atmospheres, can be very soothing for someone and horrifying for someone else. However, the sincerest significance of this project is that, for me, I want my viewers to be in a state of silence when they look at these images, a medium through which they encounter the suppressions in their unconscious mind, but as they go on looking at these images, I wish for my viewers to go beyond their unconscious mind.
